The Hamer Family
Who We Are:
Travis, Briana, Gus and Van make up the core 4 of the Hamer family. Travis is an Engine Builder at Young Performance Marine in Mt. Juliet and Briana is a Lead Stylist + Educator at Leigh, Edwards & Co. in Nashville. We’re Nashville natives who reside in Lebanon. Gus is in First Grade, and Van is just anxiously waiting for his turn to race. We love spending time outside, hanging out with our neighborhood friends, and doing anything FAST! We’re grateful to be surrounded by the support of friends and family, especially at the track!
What’s To Come:
With a great show of dedication to his sport, and pure enjoyment for the rest of the family, Gus will be starting the 2025 season in a new car! We’ve all learned so much in our first full season. We plan to attend races at the indoor track in Ohio, local club races, and continue racing in the Dixie Shootout Series!
How We Started:
Gus and his dad, Travis frequently attend the NASCAR races every summer. We met the members of MCQMRA, attended an arrive and drive event, and joined the club from there!
Where We’ve Been:
We joined the club late in the 2023 season. We began the 2024 season as a Blue Rookie and after winning the Dixie Shootout Series, we made the jump to our first competitive class in Jr. Honda!
